College and University Planning

We help high school students plan for and prepare to apply to colleges and universities in Canada, the US, and the UK. With our assistance, students choose high school courses, explore extracurricular and summer opportunities, and learn about universities and programs where they will thrive and reach their full potential.

The high school and university years are important for exploration, learning, and growth. They are also an important investment in the future. Our professional and supportive one-on-one counseling helps students make these years and the transition from high school to university positive and enjoyable for the whole family.

We know that you have busy lives. Therefore, we deliver our counseling and coaching services by virtual conferencing, email, and telephone to fit student schedules – regardless of time zone.

Academic Life Coaching

Classes, homework, clubs, sports and part-time work compete for students’ time and attention. Academic Life Coaching helps students improve executive function skills so they can manage their commitments more effectively.

One-on-one Academic Life Coaching helps students with:

  • Study Skills & Test-Taking
  • Time Management
  • Organizational Skills and Routines
  • Self-Advocacy
  • Independent Problem Solving
  • Planning & Taking Action
  • Balancing School and Extracurricular Activities

Academic Life Coaching is different from subject tutoring. Tutoring provides assistance in mastering a particular subject. Academic Life Coaching is about learning to learn effectively. With their coach students learn study skills, time management skills and organizational skills to become better, more efficient, more effective, and more self-aware learners with new habits and the ability to problem-solve independently.
